Pre-Convention Camp

Come to the WVACS Pre-Convention Camp at our field station surrounded by miles of world-class caving and a mere 18 miles north of the 2012 Convention site! Our pre-conference camp is ideal for project cavers as well as those simply wanting a classic WV trip, with a varity of led and self-guided trips each day. You get to cave ANDSurveying have time to see all the exciting sessions during Convention.

WHEN

Tuesday, June 19, 2012 til Saturday, June 23, 2012 at noon.

TRIPS

Daily caving trips will be led every day by WVACS members and friends. Refined to attendees' abilities and interests, the trips will range in intensity, vertical, and wetness. Self-led trips are also possible. Register for your spot into the classic WV caves! FEE

$35 per participant (sorry, no per-day rate).  Limit of 50 participants. Because this is a research station that supports itself on funds from those using the field station, there is a fee.

FACILITIES

Two solid buildings with plenty of parking, full plumbing (bathrooms and HOT showers), and electricity. No meals provided; however, WVACS has two full kitchens complete with refrigerators.  Sleeping arrangements include a bunk room and lots of camping space throughout the 6-acre property. Everything is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Then mail your registration information (names, address, phone number, email) and a check payable to WVACS ($35 per person) to: Chuck Frostick,  WVACS Treasurer, P.O. Box 6885,  Charleston, WV  25362-0885. Your registration will be confirmed upon receipt of check and information.
